Why men do not respond to the baby's crying while women cannot ignore it? |
A new study revealed that the nature of the mother's brain helps her to move immediately to absorb the crying and crying of the child unlike men who do not show any reaction at all.
According to the website of the British Daily Mail newspaper, during research conducted by the National Institute of Child Health in the United States, 18 men and women were asked to allow their minds to lay off a little, and during this time, scientists did a brain scan by what is known as ( FMRI).
The scientists played an audio recording of light noise and short clips of a child's crying, and the survey showed that women became more alert immediately after hearing a child's crying, while the brains of men remained at rest.
Dr. Marc Bornsteinfrom, a study lead author from the National Institute for Child Health and Medical Human Development, says "Determining if there is a difference between men and women in their reactions to hearing a baby's crying helps us understand the instinct of maternity".
The researchers also found that there were no significant differences between parents and non-parents men in terms of their reactions to children's crying.
The researchers also played another audio recording of a baby screaming previously diagnosed as autistic.
It is strange that the cries of an autistic child aroused the interest of both men and women.
A previous study showed that the cry of babies with autism tended to be higher than the tone of crying and screaming of healthy children.
